Tai Tong Natural Trail is among the other 8 to 10 trials in the Tai Tong Country Park in Yuen Long District. Some of the areas are reserved for holiday campers with proper safety protection. Signboards are properly indicated for safety reasons from wild animals and other kinds.

Tai Tong Natural Trail suits new or family hikers, including kids, mid-age, etc. Many slops are made steps for safety reasons, and straight walking areas are also safe and protective—big BBQ spots with various pits, toilets, tuckshops, and huge spaces suitable for large groups. I recommend Tai Tong Barbeque spot. Because of the less traffic area, many free vehicle parking spaces are available at the side of the road, and many are doing the same. ( However, parking vehicles at the roadside is illegal in Hong Kong.)
How to go to the Tai Tong Natural trial:
If you take MTR, please go to Long Ping station( West Rail) and take exit B1. After walking for 3 to 5 minutes, you can see MTR, bus number K66, stop, take it, and get off at the second last station, which takes about 30 minutes. Also, minibusses and runs for MTR holidays. You can find out the entrance of Natural Trial.

The Tai Tong Natural Trail area is best to look at Sweetgum woods, which look nice from November to December. The red and wine-colored trees make the jungle a beautiful visitor attraction. During the beginning of Winter, the gumwood tree looks gorgeous in a reddish color. Therefore, one of the attractions is the sweet gumwood tree. While you hike, you can see a large forest area that is so beautiful.
