The floating village that located in Aberdeen promenade Harbour in the south district of Hong Kong. There are lots of old fashion boats which is the house around 6000 people.
Sometimes also called the fishing village. People who live in the boats as a house typically stay nine months a year and doing daily activities within the junkyards like cooking, eating, fun, TV, Radio, Mobile, and everything doing, as usual, folks.
British Arrived in Hong Kong and put first step at the Aberdeen
Aberdeen is a place where the British first time put their foot landed in Hong Kong. Therefore, a trendy spot in Hong Kong for its history. Also, this is one of the busiest places as it’s a home for thousands of people and an area famous for floating markets and floating home.

It is a beautiful harbor, home for thousands of people who live in water for nine months a year. This place looks very organized very well, including lovely seating benches for the visitors, even parabolic shape uniquely designed bar and desk are available for setting and meeting purpose, toilet, playground, and other basic requirements that compel the visitors to click snaps for their future memories.
The floating Aberdeen is connecting with Lama Island via the Island ferry. I also made my trip with my family from Mo Tat Wan to Aberdeen via ferry, which takes 20-25 minutes to reach. The ferry seems old type not so clean, but it is ok to travel. They accept octopus card to pay the travel ticket charges.
