Lan Kwai Fong (LKF) is a very popular destination point for expatriates in Hong Kong to meet for different purposes. LKF is most commonly known for bar, drink and food, etc.
In Lan Kwai Fong, there are two street from the top joining down to the D’ Aguluiar Street. It is a small but highly popular bar and restaurant street. Many locals, foreigners, friends often meetup during the evening at happy hour, week-end, midnight or even for a quick drink.

Sloppy location in Lan Kwai Fong:
I personally love the Lan Kwai Fong due to it’s degree of inclination. Most of the bar serves in both indoors and outdoor areas. The streets there are very narrow therefore, over crowding outside is not allowed. It is Located Central District – Hong Kong

Yes, now there are many places for eating and drinking in Hong Kong. For example, Wan Chai, mid-levels, Soho, etc.
Why It was so popular in Hong Kong?:
Hong Kong is an international free trade city. While British was still ruling Hong Kong , there were no restriction of entry in HK and visa would be available at the immigration itself. From that time, during the weekends or after work time, Lan Kwai Fong became the meeting points for the expats for drinks and this trend is still continuing till today.
However, now the time has changed a lot, many bars and other drinking venues are opened in different area. Yet, the beauty of Lang Kwai Fong hasn’t been replaced.
how to get there?
You can get there by going to Central MTR station, from there you can get out from the nearest exit to LKF and walk for about a minute or two. Some Public light Buses (PLB) are also going nearby the street but it is very hard for visitors to get off from the small bus.
