Today’s blog will give a personal design DIY guideline on how to finish one day’s major attraction in Hong Kong. It covers from morning 7.30 am to start your trip and to complete around 9.3o pm or so.
I assume you are staying in Kowloon, Hong Kong, or a nearby convenient area. Before starting your trip, the outline will be like this.
Let’s wake up at 7.30 am and get ready to leave at 8.30 am, first heading towards Tsim Tsa Tsui Victoria Harbor; if you are somewhere far, take the MTR to TST or TST East to reach you very quickly. As you have a only time for a day trip, it is not necessary to make a new Octopus card, but you ask if you have some friends or family in HK and use it and give it back to them later.
At Victoria Harbor, take some beautiful clips and visit the upper and down levels; from there, you can see Hong Kong’s Skylines. Walk the pathway toward Hung Hom side, Avenue square, K11musea along the pass by click snaps and return to the star ferry terminal.

Enter Tsim Tsa Tsui star ferry terminal; ferries to and from Central and Wanchai both have upper and lower decks; some parts of the upper deck are equipped with aircon, and the lower part with open with the fresh air. The upper seating area is a bit more expensive than the lower but at a very minimal cost. You can pay octopus or cash; now, you can also use other payment methods.
Get off the Central ferry terminal; many ferries leave from different Island from here like Lama Island, Discovery bay, Cheung Chau, etc. Walk via the bridge; see the Wheel on the Left side, which is newly built if you want to spend half an hour or more than more along the bridge and reach IFC exchange square which is the Hong Kong’s business hub and world-class companies, offices, hotels, restaurants located nearby Central, admiralty, Wanchai, Causeway Bay Area. You just move around you can see Hong Kong Macau ferry terminal, World’s longest escalator, and Lan kwai Fong, a popular venue for nightlife, drinks, and more.
Take a Tram, go to Wanchai, move around the immigration department and Inland Revenue, eat local food, and enjoy. After that, take a tram or MTR and come to Admiralty to find the way to the Victoria peak. I need to walk another 15 minutes to the peak tram station.
Once you start riding the peak tram, it will take 7-8 minutes to reach the top; the vertical travel is fantastic; please click snap for Good memory; it is about a 1.4 km journey from start to end. Beautiful Full Hong kong anatomic view skyscrapers, Victoria harbor, Hong Kong island abusive hub, Kowloon, and part of New territory and sea area are captured in photographic and mind memory. You may have a tight time till you reach here, it is perhaps the tea time to enjoy, many fast food and other restaurants are there, also move around one or two hours and head back. Evening time is the best lighting view you can ever see. If you are lucky, the sky will be clean to the Wow! moment.
After that, when you come back directly to Element( tram+MTR get off at Kowloon stop), Element’s rooftop restaurant Civic Square is an excellent place to relax and eat and drink if you wish.
Finally, Try ICC ozone Bar located at 118/F, take drinks and take lovely photographs from there. The 60/f residential building looks very small from the top, and easy to get the panoramic view of the central and TST promenade looks terrific.
